  An actor, poet, singer and dancer was born on January 4th in the year 1912 in Bengal. His name is Zohra Sehgal. He is a person who has been performing arts since he was 2 months old and had his very first public performance in 1920. The period of Indian cinema's biggest transformation had begun with Zohra Sehgal's entry into showbiz as the lead hero for Lata Mangeshkar's birthday celebrations in 1936. This was the time when the veteran actor was just 5 years into his career.During this period, we were yet to witness Sehgal for a full spanning feature film. This would happen in 1957 after he appeared in no less than 15 songs from different genres in various films. Following several more years, he has made his presence felt in the industry as one of the most eligible actors and gets credited for popularizing music videos through tele-films.
